Sold a home in 2013. Chris took on the sale of my condo when no one else wanted to. I do not live nearby and my schedule was limited-he handled everything from soup to nuts...he went above and beyond even when he had no obligation to do so. 02/13/2013 -I discovered Chris when I was looking to sell my home in North Vancouver, WA via short sale and would 100% recommend him for any real estate needs. As far as "basics" go, I contacted Chris through his website and he responded within 24 hours with a phone call to set up a time to meet with me and figure out what my options were for my house. He thoroughly explained the short sale process and what I could expect. He was candid and optimistic about my situation, yet did not make promises he could not guarantee. I listed my house with him and had three offers within one week. Within 5 months, both mortgage companies approved my short sale and I was no longer a home owner. HUGE relief. As far as "extras" go...I was extremely apprehensive about my house situation and trying to get approval for a short sale! Chris walked me through the entire process with professionalism mixed with enough humour and a "this isn't the end of the world" attitude that helped me survive what could have been a fairly awful experience. In addition, throughout the entire process, when other realtors, the bank, the title company, etc. heard that Chris was my realtor, all I heard over and over was "Oh, you're in good hands!" I would not hesitate to recommend Chris Galyon for any type of real estate transaction. He is a knowledgeable, no pressure, professional with a sincere goal of making sure his clients are 100%+ satisfied! I presented a bit of a challenge for Chris as I had a home to sell in Las Vegas before I could purchase a new home in Battle Ground. No easy task! Even before I listed my home, Chris sent me available listings of homes in Battle Ground that fit my criterion. When I met with Chris in person, he only showed me properties he knew I would like and could afford; I found a new house that was exactly what I wanted! Problem was it took seven months to sell my Vegas home. As frustrated as I was, Chris remained patiently optimistic and continued to communicate with me. When my home finally sold and I was ready to relocate, the house I wanted was no longer available. No problem! Chris communicated with the exceptional builder, HENDRICKSON DEVELOPMENT, and negotiated an offer for me to buy a lot and build the home of my dreams TO MY SPECIFICATIONS! 5 stars are not enough for Chris Galyon! We have used him to sell 2 homes (one home sale being my grandmother's) and purchase 2 homes, and he has provided exceptional service at every turn. He is a no pressure, no-nonsense realtor, and we really appreciate that. Chris is proactive about every facet of each transaction. He makes sure you understand all you NEED to know, not only what you want to hear. And he gets things done quickly. He also answers the phone and calls back when he says he will.

With both our home purchases, he has listened to what we wanted and needed and never tried to show us home that didn't fit our criteria. With our home sales, he was always up front about price expectations, but both times he was able to negotiate a great sales price for us and sold the homes quickly.

Honestly I think a lot of realtors are in the business and only care about what they can do to make sales and move on to the next client. Chris also cares about his reputation and about his clients being happy with their sale/purchase. Honestly I don't think we would ever work with any other realtor.
